Choir benefit from funding from One Community’s Thornton Family Fund

We have been awarded multiyear grant assistance for both 2022 and 2023 from One Community towards the fees of our professional’s.  This is in addition to a second-year grant award towards our storage costs.  

Meirion Lewis, Chairman of the Choir, said “We are delighted to receive these generous awards from One Community’s Thornton Family Fund.  Like many ‘not-for-profit’ organisations, we have limited resources and experienced a severe impact on our usual income streams due to the Covid-19 crisis.”

“These awards will not only provide valuable support to the choir by contributing to the wellbeing, health and social life of the singing membership, but will also ensure ‘We Rise Again’ as we return to live performances.  They will also enable the choir to meet its overall charitable aims and objectives of extending its community involvement, thereby benefitting the wider local community.” Thank you!
